A native of Princess Anne County, he had resided at Dozier's Corner 10 years. He was a son of Mrs. Lillie Dozier Jackson, and the late Tully Peter Dozier. He was a member of South Norfolk Lodge 339, A.F. & A.M., Grice Commandery, and Khedive Temple of the Shrine. He also was a member of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church, Berkley. Besides his mother, surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frances Railey Dozier; two sons, Richard Wilson Dozier and William Nelson Dozier, both of Norfolk County; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Dozier Israel and Mrs. Catherine Dozier Kennedy, both of Princess Anne County, and one brother, Fred S. Dozier, of Roanoke. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
