Norfolk Ledger Dispatch October 19, 1946

Earl Dozier, son of the late James W. and Mary Thomson Dozier, died at a local 
hospital today at 7:05 a.m.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Grace Dozier, he is survived by three sisters, Misses Ann 
T. and Maude Dozier, both of Norfolk and Mrs. P.B. Brittingham, of Virginia 
Beach and a brother, Frank B. Dozier, of Norfolk.
Mr. Dozier was a native of Princess Anne County and had been a resident of 
Norfolk most of his life.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Monday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. F.A. Babbitt, pastor of the Park Avenue 
Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
