Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 22, 1950

                  Charles Ormand Dozier, Retired, Dies at 66

Charles Ormand Dozier, 66, retired superintendent of the machine department, 
Norfolk Navy Yard, died at a Norfolk hospital last night at 10 o'clock after a 
long illness.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Blanche Dozier, a sister, Mrs. T.T. Treymor and a 
brother, James Dozier.
He was the son of the late Ben F. and Annie Turner Dozier and a lifelong 
resident of Norfolk. Mr. Dozier was a member of the Christian Adelphian Church. 
He retired from the Navy Yard eight years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Hollomon-Brown 
Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family mausoleum in Elmwood Cemetery.
