Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 25, 1953

Francis Bell Dozier, 79, son of the late James W. and Virginia Thomson Dozier, 
died at the residence, 745 Baldwin Avenue, yesterday at 2 a.m. He is survived by 
three sisters, Miss Ann T. Dozier, Miss Maude Dozier, both of Norfolk and Mrs. 
P.B. Brittingham, of Virginia Beach. Mr. Dozier was a native of Princess Anne 
County and had been a resident of Norfolk for 60 years. He was a member of the 
Fraternal Order of Eagles. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-
Brown Funeral Home tomorrow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
