Norfolk Virginian December 4, 1894

The funeral of Mr. Cader W. Dozier was preached from the family residence, No. 24 
Sheldon Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Dr. Wharton, of Freemason Street 
Baptist Church, officiating. The following are the names of the pallbearers: 
Messrs. B.S. Watson, L.T. Blick, D.C. Lassiter, W.C. Godfrey, Lawrence Royster, R. 
Williams, Wm. Rosson and F. Underhill. Interment was in Elmwood.
