The Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 5, 1954
Miss Leanor Durell Drew, 77, of 808 Westover Avenue, died at a Norfolk hospital 
Friday at 11:17 p.m. following an illness of five weeks.  She had been in 
failing health for two years.  A native of Hampton, she had been a resident of 
Norfolk most of her life.  She was a daughter of John Henry and Mrs. Martha 
Stores Drew.  She was a member of the Ghent Methodist Church.
Miss Drew is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Otto S. Bullock and Mrs. Ida D. 
Hoggard, of Norfolk; two brothers, John S. Drew and Clarence A. Drew, of 
Norfolk; and 14 nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from the Cox Funeral Home to the residence, 808 Westover 
Avenue, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. by the 
Rev. John A. McKenry, Jr., pastor of the Ghent Methodist Church.  Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
