Virginian Pilot May 2, 1970

Mrs. Mary Evans Drew, of 524 Graydon Ave., died in a hospital Friday.
She was the widow of John S. Drew and a daughter of Frank P. and Mrs. Ellen Mary 
Hickey Evans.
A Norfolk native and a lifelong resident of this area, she was a member of 
Sodality of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son, John D. Drew and a sister, Mrs. Eloise Evans Love, both of 
Norfolk.
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary's 
Catholic Church for a Requiem Mass Monday at noon. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.

DREW, MARY EVANS - At a local hospital, May 1, 1970, at 2 a.m., MRS. MARY EVANS 
DREW, widow of John S. Drew and a daughter of the late Frank P. and Mrs. Ellen 
Mary Hickory Evans. The remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, to St. Mary's Catholic Church for a requiem mass, Monday, 
May 4, 1970, at 12 noon. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Friends 
of the family are invited to attend.
