Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 26,1955
Funeral services for John W. Drew, who died at a Norfolk hospital on Feb. 
11, were held at First Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, Feb. 13, with the 
pastor, Dr. C. E. Griffin, in charge.

Mr. Drew, who resided at 808 E. Princess Anne road, Norfolk, was a member of 
First Calvary for 50 years.  He was a member of the Masons and the National 
Ideal Society.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fannie Drew;  two sisters, one of whom is  
Mrs. Ceceila Smith of Richmond, and at home in charge. (exactly as shown in 
the obituary, no second sister named).

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
