Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, July 21, 1998 
John Lee Drew of the 6300 block of N. Military Highway, died July 20, 1998, at
his residence.

Born in Norfolk, he was a retired mechanic from Miller Oil Co. and a U.S. Army
veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Drew; two sons, Elton Drew and John Drew,
both of Norfolk; two sisters, Virgie Long and Maggie Beslow, both of Norfolk;
two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

A funeral will be at noon Thursday at Mt. Herman Disciples of Christ by Bishop
Joseph Daniels. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will receive
friends at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
