DREWREY DEAD A Highly Respected Lady of Berkley Passes Away Mrs. Elizabeth F. Drewrey, perhaps one of the best known and most highly respected ladies of the town, died yesterday morning at 3:45 o'clock at her home, No. 71 Liberty street. The deceased was the wife of the late John M. Drewrey, who was for many years prominent in the political affairs of the county, and daughter of the late Col. Wm. M. Etheredge. She leaves one son, Mr. Louis Drewrey, of Norfolk. She had been in failing health, partly from old age, for several months and had been confined eight weeks. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of this place from which the funeral will be conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock by the rector, Rev. Robert Gatewood. The remains will be interred in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. **************************************************************************** Funeral and Interment of Mrs. Elizabeth Drewrey Yesterday The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth F. Drewrey, whose death was noted in yesterday's paper, was conducted from the St. Paul's Episcopal Church yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock. The sacred edifice was filled to overflowing with the many friends and relatives of the deceased. Flowers of various kinds were in profusion and the services were conducted by Rev. Robert Gatewood, rector of the church, and they were of a most interesting and touching nature. At the conclusion the remains were conveyed to Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, where the interment was made. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Messrs. J.J. Ottley, J.H. Jacocks, L. Hyslop, Jr., J.T. Gibbs, C.J. Colonna, Lycurgus Berkley, George Coxson and Dr. Geo. W. Wallace.
