               DR. W.E. DRIVER DIES, AGED 80; FUNERAL TODAY

        Nansemond County Native Had Resided in Norfolk For 55 Years

Dr. Wilson Elliott Driver, 80, son of Elliott Jefferson and Mrs. Martha 
Williams Driver, died at a hospital yesterday at 8:45 p.m.
Dr. Driver was a native of Driver and had resided in Norfolk for 55 years, 
residing at 1229 Graydon Avenue at the time of his death. 
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lemuel C. Shepherd, of Honolulu; two 
sons, Dr. Wilson E. Driver, Jr., of Norfolk and Robert B. Driver, of Sao 
Paulo, Brazil, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
today at 3:30 p.m. by the Rev. Taylor Willis, rector of Christ and St. 
Luke's Episcopal Church.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
