Mrs. Drory was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of the late Abraham and Goldie Gordon. She was an honor graduate of Maury High School. She retired from Barr Brothers Jewelers after over 20 years with the company. She also was an author completing her first book, "Another World," 10 years ago and just recently finished an untitled book about her childhood growing up in New York. She was a member of B'Nai Israel Congregation and its Sisterhood, and also a former member of Hadassah. She is preceded in death by her sister, Rosalie Krampf. Survivors include her husband Itshag Drory of Norfolk; their son, David Drory and his wife Mary Rebecca of Manderville, LA; and four grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Jason and Matthew. Graveside services will be conducted at B'Nai Israel Cemetery at noon Sunday by Rabbi Yosef Friedman. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
