NORFOLK — Carolyn Louise Drummond, 84, of the 100 block of W. Randall Ave., died 
July 5,1987, in a nursing home.
Mrs. Drummond, a Norfolk native, retired from the civil service with the Naval 
Operations Base after 10 years. She was the widow of George A. Drummond.
Survivors include four sons, Stewart A. Drummond of Virginia Beach, Speight P. 
Drummond of Connecticut, George R. Drummond of Texas and Meredith D. Drummond of 
Florida; a sister, Martha E. From of Arkansas; a brother, Henry P. Proescher of 
Florida; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. James Nowell. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling 
arrangements. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
