Norfolk Virginian April 6, 1875 

On yesterday, at 4 1/2 o'clock p.m., after a painful illness of three weeks, R. 
JOSEPH DRUMMOND, second son of Captain Wm. S. and Ann T. Drummond, in the 35th 
year of his age.
The funeral will take place from the residence of his father, 84 York Street, on 
TOMORROW (Wednesday), 7th instant, at 4 1/2 p.m.  Friends and acquaintances of the 
family and members of the N.L.A. Blues, his former comrades-in-arms, are 
respectfully invited to attend.
