A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Lottie Edmonds Drumwright. He formerly was associated with A.S. Drumwright & Co., a Norfolk truck repair shop. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church, Norfolk. Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth D. Punk of Richmond; a son, James Howard Drumwright Jr. of Deerfield, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Williams of Norfolk; a brother, Robert Drumwright of Lake Worth, Fla.; and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Gordon Keller of Park Place Baptist Church.
