March 8, 1922 James Edward Drumwright, aged 68 years, died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the residence, 732 East 27th Street, after a lingering illness. He is survived by one daughter and six sons: Mrs. T. E. Williams of Norfolk, C. E., J. H., F. H., A. S., and G. T. Drumwright, all of Norfolk, and R. K. Drumwright, of Fort Union, Va. Two sisters and three brothers also survive; Mrs. Sarah A. Dare, Norfolk, Mrs. J. T. Stewart, Taylorsville, Ill., and W. E. Drumwright, Waldrop, Va., George Drumwright of Newport News, and J. W. Drumwrigh of Norfolk. Mr. Drumwright was born in Albemarle County, and had been a resident of Norfolk for 27 years. He was a member of the Brambleton Tent, Maccabees, and the Park Place Baptist Church. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence with Rev. I. D. S. Knight officiating.
