Sept. 18, 1912 Mrs. Fannie O. Drumwright, wife of J. E. Drumwright, died at her home, 27th Street, Villa Heights, at an early hour [3:10 a.m.*] yesterday morning after a lingering illness, in the 57th year of her age. Mrs. Drumwright was a native of Virginia but had been a resident of Norfolk 18 years where she was well‑known and highly‑esteemed. Besides her husband, she is survived by six sons, C. E., F. H., A. S., J. H., R. K., and G. T. Drumwright; also a daughter, Mrs. T. E. Williams, all of Norfolk. The funeral will be held at the residence at 4 o'clock p.m. today and will be conducted by Rev. J. T. Anderson of the Park Avenue Baptist Church ["of which she was a member" *]. The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
