Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with full military honors. He did April 6, in his home following a short illness. A native of Darlington, SC, he was a son of Mrs. Hannah Dubose and the late Phillip Dubose and the husband of Mrs. Ida Mae Dubose. He worked for Ajax Tile and Marble Company and was a member of St. James AME Church. He was a World War II veteran. In addition to his mother and widow, he is survived by a son, Howard Dubose, a daughter, Mrs. Bertha L. Moore, and three brothers, Gean Dubose, Goshua Dubose and Louis Dubose, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Harris of New York and Mrs. Annie Mae Bonepart of Darlington and two grandchildren.
