Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, December 19, 1998 
Arthur Duck Sr. of the 2800 block of Middle Towne Crescent died Dec. 16, 1998.

Born in Isle of Wight County, he was a retired butcher and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Marian P. Duck of Norfolk; two daughters, Marian D.
Pree of Norfolk and Carolyn L. Duck of Maryland; seven sons, Randolph Duck,
Ronald L. Duck, Donald Duck, Arthur Duck Jr., Charles Duck, Melvin Duck, all of
Norfolk, James Duck of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Helen Tynes of Atlanta, Ga.,
and Mable Uzzle of Windsor; 15 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Community Funeral Home,
Norfolk, by Bishop Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk.
There will be a wake from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday.
