The Rev. James L. Dudley of 1108 Appomattox street died Friday, March 28, at the
US Marine Hospital after a brief illness. The funeral was held Monday, March 31,
at the New Hope Christian Church in which he was assistant pastor. He also held
membership in the St. Paul Lodge. Besides his wife, Mrs. Lucy Dudley, Rev. Mr.
Dudley is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Beulah D. Hayslett, and one son, Henry
Dudley.
