 The Virginian Pilot Thursday January 26. 1990
Shirley J. Dudley, 53, of the 100 block of Suburban Parkway, died Jan. 24, 
1990, in a Norfolk hospital.
Miss Dudley, a native of Norfolk, had retired from Giant Open Air Markets 
after 15 years.
Survivors include four sisters, Barbara Rumsey of Virginia Beach, Marion 
Buell and Pat Parham, both of Johns Island, S.C., and Mary Vaughan of Walnut 
Creek, Calif., and two brothers, George Dudley of Norfolk and James Dudley 
Jr. of Atlanta.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Elmwood 
Cemetery by the Rev. D. Michael Houff.  Friends may join the family from 7 
to 8 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.
