Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Wednesday June 18, 1930

Mrs. Carrie M. Dudley, aged 70 years, widow of J.J. Dudley, died yesterday 
afternoon at 2:35 o'clock at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. T. Ramsay 
Taylor, at Fairfax, Va. Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. T. Ramsay Taylor, 
of Fairfax; two sons, J. Guy Dudley, of Norfolk and H.H. Dudley, of Arlington, 
N.J.; one granddaughter, Mrs. Thomas P. Chapman, Jr., of Fairfax, Va.; two 
sisters, Mrs. H.L. Richardson and Mrs. A. Bain Burgess, both of Norfolk, and one 
brother, George W. Bain, of Chicago. Remains will be brought to Norfolk for 
funeral services and interment, time of which will be announced later.

Mrs. Carrie M. Dudley - Funeral services for Mrs. Dudley, widow of J.J. Dudley 
and daughter of the late Charles N. and Caroline Irvine Bain, whose death 
occurred Tuesday afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. T. Ramsay 
Taylor, Fairfax, will be held at 12 o'clock noon today at H.D.Oliver's Funeral 
Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, with the Rev. E. Ruffin Jones, D.D., 
rector of St. Andrews's Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be private 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
