VIRGINIA BEACH — Frances Duffey of 3100 Shore Drive, a native of Norfolk, died 
Saturday in a hospital.
Mrs. Duffey had retired from a job with the Virginia Social Services Department. 
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She had graduated from 
Trinity College in Washington, D.C.
Survivors include a cousin, Clara Councell of Washington, D.C.
A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas Nee. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Catholic Church Cemetery.
A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk.
