He was the son of Thomas and Julia Duffy, of Ireland. He lived in Norfolk 50 years and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society and Norfolk Council No. 367, Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora Agnes Flynn Duffy; a son, Thomas Joseph Duffy, Jr., of Norfolk; two daughters, Mrs. J.T. Falls, of Norfolk and Mrs. R.J. Kelly, of Richmond and a niece, Mrs. David Ryan, of New York, N.Y. Rosary services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 8 p.m. The body will be taken to the Blessed Sacrament Church for services tomorrow at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ************************************************************************** Thomas Joseph Duffy — Funeral services for Mr. Duffy, who died Monday, were conducted at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church yesterday at 9 a.m. by the Rev. Joseph V. Brennan, pastor. The Rev. B. J. McKenna was present in the sanctuary. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Boylan, R. A. Robinett, S. W. Fraser, J. W. Kavanaugh, W. E. Hall and Joseph M. Decker.
