James Frank Duke, 84, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 12:35 a.m., after a l
a long illness.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lucy M. Bailey, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Noah Gi
Gillikin, of Beaufort, N.C.; three sons, Clarence W. Duke, and David Frank Du
Duke, both of Norfolk and James Floyd Duke of Buffalo, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren an
and 23 great grandchildren. Mr. Duke was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow a
at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
