Mrs Duncan had been ill for some months and had been taken to Johns Hopkins hospital. She died yesterday morning. The remains of the deceased will be brought here for interment. Mrs. Duncan was reared in Somerset County, Md. and was 59 years of age. She was the widow of the late Levi Duncan, of Berkley and a daughter of the late John Byrd Rider, a prominent citizen of Eastern Maryland. ***************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Byrd Duncan, relict of the late Levi B. Duncan, who passed away at Johns Hopkins hospital Friday morning, will be conducted from the residence of Dr. E.F. Truitt, deceased's son-in-law, at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. L.R. Watson, pastor of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church, will officiate, assisted by Rev. W.A. Christian, pastor of Memorial M.E. Church and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. She leaves nine children to mourn their loss --five sons and four daughters-- Mrs. Dr. E.F. Truitt, Miss Kate Duncan, Mrs. F.O. Durham, Miss Rida (Rider) Duncan and Messrs. John G. Duncan, R.B. Duncan, E.E. Duncan, Samuel B. Duncan and J. Irving Duncan, all of this place. The remains arrived here over the Old Bay Line yesterday morning, accompanied by the children of the deceased. The deceased lived in this city until a few months ago, when she went to Baltimore and was a very prominent lady.
