Carroll Pitt Duncan, 65, widow of Marshall Yates Duncan, died at her home in 
Midlothian, Virginia, on December 1, 2003. She was preceded in death by her 
parents, Mary Frances Pitt and William L. Pitt. She is survived by her son, Paul 
Marshall Duncan, and his wife, Cathy; another son, William Carroll Duncan; a 
brother, Msgr. William L. Pitt; three grandchildren, Morgan, Marshall and Ethan. 
Carroll was a member of St. Edward's parish, Bon Air, where the Liturgy of 
Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. There will be a viewing 
beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will take place on Thursday at St. 
Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be 
made to Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School, 4552 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia 
Beach, Va. 23462 or to the American Cancer Society.
