VIRGINIA BEACH - David D. Dunn, 69, of the 900 block of Westerly Trail, passed 
away Sunday, May 24, 2009, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. Born in Gary, S.D., to the 
late Cecil and Mary Dunn, David was a retired radioman with the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Dunn; daughter, Deborah Dunn-Carr, and husband, 
Harry; two sons, Gerard Dunn, and wife, Loretta, and David Dunn, and wife, Kim 
Spaulding; two sisters, Florence Ramsey and Barbara Clausen; and four 
grandchildren, Anna and Sean Carr, David Dunn, and Jeanette-Maria Blackledge. He 
was predeceased by a daughter, Maria Dunn.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Matthews 
Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Joseph Facura officiating. A Catholic wake 
will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River 
Chapel. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
