Elias Lafayette Dunn - Funeral services for Mr. Dunn were conducted at the
residence, 208 Graydon avenue, yesterday morning at 11 o’clock by the Rev. L.
Oakey Wilburn, pastor of the South Norfolk Methodist Church.  There was a large
attendance and many flowers, the casket being covered with a pall of Easter
lillies.  During the services Redwood Richardson sang, “Sometime We’ll Understand.”

Pallbearers were Arnold Richardson, B. L. Hall, William Richardson, Stanley
Stokes, Edward Dowdy and Sanford Stroop, all nephews of Mr. Dunn.  Burial was in
Elmwood Cemetery.
