The funeral of Mrs. Catherine Dunn was held from St. Mary’s Catholic church 
yesterday morning and was largely attended. Requiem mass was celebrated by the 
pastor, Rev. Father John Doherty. During the offertory, “O Salutarus” was rendered 
by Prof. E. J. Doran. There was a profusion of beautiful floral offerings. The 
remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: 
Nicholas Welsh, M. J. Lyons, Michael Cashin, Sr., Patrick Hart, George Downing, 
John Cullen, William F. Long, Daniel Seay.
