NORFOLK — Nellie Britton Dunn, 81, of the 600 block of Ingleside Road, a retired 
secretary, died Nov. 13, 1987, in a hospital.
Mrs. Dunn, a native of Bertie County, N.C., was the widow of F.W. Dunn. She was a 
member and former deaconess of Squires Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was 
retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station’s bookkeeping department. She was a member 
of Ingleside Garden Club.
Survivors include three sisters, Annie Laurie Harrell of Richmond, Ruth B. Joyner 
of Aulander, N.C., and Mary B. Bazemore of Newport News; and four brothers, Claude 
L. Britton, Robert L. Britton, Cecil R. Britton and George T. Britton, all of 
Lewiston, N.C.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Squires Memorial Presbyterian 
Church by the Rev. Gerald H. Kirby. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic 
Cemetery.
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
