The Rev. E. Paul Simms delivered the eulogy. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of William Parker and Mrs. Ella Parker, both deceased, and the wife of David Dunning. She resided in Portsmouth for a number of years. The deceased attended the old Queen Street school and Hartshorn College, Richmond, VA. Serving actively in her church, she held membership in the senior choir and in the Dorcas class. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Dunning Mozelle of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Riggins and Mrs. Mamie Beaver, both of New York City; and other relatives. Honorary pallbearers were, W. O. Hunter, W. B. Adams, B. O. Bryce, E. Edwards, R. Johnson and A. Warren.
