Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, March 20,1965
Norfolk - Final rites were held for Christopher C. Dunston of 809 Chestnut
street in Fitchett Funeral Chapel.  Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

A native of Bertie County, NC, he was the husband of Mrs. Hattie Dunston and a
son of Samuel Dunston and Mrs. Mary Dunston Hexstall.  He was a member of
Christian Home Baptist church, Moyock,NC.  He died March 8.

Besides his widow, surviving are a son, John F. Dunston of New York;  a
daughter, Miss Thelma L. Dunston of Moyock;  and a sister, Mrs. Blanch Holloman
of Chesapeake.
