R.M. Dutton, a highly esteemed and well known railroad man, died at his residence in Brambleton early Friday morning after a short illness of heart disease. His remains will be interred today at 11 a.m. from his late residence, Rev. J.T. Whitley, officiating. ************************************************************************** Funeral services over the remains of Capt. R.M. Dutton, whose death occurred at his residence in Brambleton Thursday, took place yesterday at 11 a.m., Rev. J.T. Whitley of the Queen Street M.E. Church conducting the services. The remains were interred in Elmwood cemetery with Masonic honors, the deceased having been a member of Waterman Lodge, A.F. and A.M., No. 219, at Abingdon, Va. Ruth Lodge, No. 89, of this city, attended the funeral. The pallbearers were R.C. White, L.D. Holt, L. Badger, W.A. Crowder, C.H. Robertson and T.L. Lipscomb.
