Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 29, 1926

Antonio Eardley, aged 39, a native of Tripoli, Syria, who came to Norfolk from 
his native land 21 years ago, died last night at his residence, 1052 Forty-third 
Street. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ada Eardley; two sons, Joseph Eardley 
and Michael Eardley; four daughters, Misses Nellie, Emeline, Virginia and Gloria 
Eardley, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Taft Eardley and Francis Eardley, of 
Patterson, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. M. Ferren, of Newport News. Funeral arrangements 
will be announced later.

Antonio Eardley — Funeral services for Mr. Eardley, whose death occurred Sunday 
at the residence, 1052 Forty-third street, will be held this afternoon at 3 
o’clock, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
