Virginian-Pilot  March 11, 1928
Mrs. Ada Eardley, age 38, widow of Antonio Eardley, died yesterday morning at 3 
o’clock at the residence, 1076 West Forty-second street. She had been a resident 
of Norfolk for 34 years. Surviving her are four daughters, the Misses Nellie, 
Emeline, Virginia and Gloria Eardley; two sons, Joseph and Michael Eardley, all of 
Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Essia, of Paterson, N.J., and Mrs. Joseph Zoby, of 
Norfolk, and one brother, Andrew Kyatt, of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held 
at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment 
will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
