Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, May 23, 2001 
Jean F. Early, 64, of the 800 block of Round Bay Road, died May 20, 2001. A
native of Norfolk, she was a member of Enoch Baptist Church in Norfolk.

She is survived by four daughters, Andrea Sommerville, Sheila Parham, both of
Norfolk, Wanda Early and Jean White of Waterbury, Conn.; two sons, Ronnie Early
of Norfolk and John Early of Louisiana; mother, Enid Chappell of Norfolk; a
stepsister, Josephine Peede of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; and a host of other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at noon Friday at Enoch Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the
Rev. Michael Daniels with burial in Calvary Cemetery . The family will receive
friends at 1224-A Lead St., Norfolk. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is
in charge of arrangements.
