Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday November 28, 1946
Lewis Clinton Eason, 59, husband of Mrs. Jettie Wood Eason, and son of the 
late William Frank and Mrs. Emma Brinkley Eason, a native of Gatesville, 
N.C. and a well known resident of Norfolk for 30 years, died yesterday 
morning at 5 o'clock at the residence, 1119 Manchester Avenue, Larchmont.  
Mr. Eason was a member of Larchmont Baptist Church, of Corinthian Lodge No. 
266, A.F. & A.M, Khedive Temple and Scottish Rite Bodies, of Norfolk.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Jettie Wood Eason, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
Ripley W. Williamson; a son, Lewis C. Eason, Jr., of Norfolk and a sister, 
Mrs. J.L. Sawyer, of Gatesville, N.C.  Services will be held at the chapel 
of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Friday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock, 
with the Rev. Paul Crandall, pastor of Larchmont Baptist Church, 
officiating.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery
