Virginian Pilot Wednesday January 8, 1902

The funeral of Miss Pauline Eason, who died Monday morning at the home of her 
father, Mr. S.C. Eason, in South Norfolk, was conducted from the residence 
yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.  The Rev. S.S. Robinson, pastor of the South 
Norfolk Baptist Church, officiated, after which the remains were laid to rest in 
Magnolia Cemetery.  Miss Eason was very popular with a host of friends, who 
attended the obsequies, bearing many beautiful wreaths and flowers to be laid on 
her casket.
