He was a son of the late Alfred and Mrs. Mary Outlaw Eason, of Bertie County, N.C., but had been a resident of this section twenty-eight years, where he had become well known and esteemed. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Eason, and the following children: William and James Eason, Mrs. S.W. Wilson, Alfred Eason, South Norfolk and Mrs. G.A. Kirkwood, of Victoria, Va. and a brother, Ralph Eason, South Norfolk. The funeral will be conducted at the above residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. J.O. Babcock, pastor of the Liberty Street Methodist Church and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
