The funeral of Mr. Isaac M. Eason, who died Saturday morning at his home, No. 
4 Hughes Street, aged 27 years, took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock 
from Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. 
J.T. Riddick. The interment was in Elmwood. The following were the pall-
bearers: C.E. Brockett, E.L. Fentress, R.M. Johnakin, L.B. Putman, J.Ballance, 
E.B. Dozier, J.T. Campbell and T. Moore.
