Virginian-Pilot October 10, 1913
Mrs. Margaret A. East, widow of John W. East, died at 1 o'clock yesterday 
afternoon at the residence of her son, J. Frank East, Thirteenth street, 
Willoughby Beach. She was 86 years old. She was the mother of J. Frank East, W. B. 
East, T. J. East and L. B. East.
The funeral will occur at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning at the First Christian 
(Disciples) church, on Freemason street. Services will be conducted by Rev. C. M. 
Watson, pastor of the church. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
