EAST, MARGARET PAYNE GRIFFITH - At the residence, Apt. 1, East Manor Apartments, 
No. 911 Brandon avenue, Sunday, August 23, 1942, at 8:40 o'clock p.m., MARGARET 
PAYNE GRIFFITH, wife of T. J. East and daughter of the late William L. and Fannie 
Simpson Griffith, in the 76th year of her age. Remains will be taken from the H. 
D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial avenue, to the First Christian 
Church (Disciples) for services TUESDAY AFTERNOON at 4 o'clock. Friends of the 
family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood cemetery.
