EAST, MRS. MARY McCALLEN - In a Norfolk hospital, Wednesday, MRS. MARY McCALLEN 
EAST, wife of Thomas O'Ferrall East and daughter of the late John and Mrs. Osceola 
Chrisman McCallen and mother of Thomas J. East, II of Virginia Beach and Mrs. John 
Luther Bame of Houston, Texas, in the 81st year of her age. A funeral service will 
be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, with burial in 
Elmwood Cemetery. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
