Norfolk - Funeral rites for Captain Easter of 1535 W. 41st street are 
scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hale Funeral Chapel. The Rev. G. O. Hicks 
will officiate.

Mr. Easter died in a local hospital. A native of Emporia he was the husband 
of the late Mrs. Sadie Easter and a son of the late Sidney and Mrs. Sarah 
Easter.

He was retired from the City of Norfolk's Division of Bridge & Sewers after 
43 years of service. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Sgt. Sidney Easter II serving with the Air Force in 
Vietnam, and four grandchildren.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
