NORFOLK - Mrs. Katie L. Eaton of 2425 Middle Ave., the widow of the Rev. Plummer 
P. Eaton and a native of Durham, N.C., died Tuesday in a hospital.

She was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Ethel E. Anderson, Mrs. Fannie M. Mason, 
Mrs. Dorothy Newton, Mrs. Ruth Stinnette, and Mrs. Emma Smith of Norfolk, and 
Mrs. Gertrude Edwards of Chicago; three sons, Oliver H. Eaton and John W. Eaton 
of Washington, and Patrick P. Eaton of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Estelle McDonald 
of Greensburg, Pa.; 25 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Jerusalem Baptist Church 
by Dr. T.M. Venable. Burial will be in the Family Plot of Calvary Cemetery with 
Hale Funeral Home in charge.
