A domestic worker for 60 years, she was a native of Hyde County, N.C., and the widow of George Eaton. She was a member of Bank Street Memorial Baptist Church, Norfolk, and was a deaconess, as well as a member of the Ellen Wood-Emily B. Jordan Missionary Circle and Ballard-Epperson Sunday School Class. She was predeceased by her parents, Lavenia Mackey King and Turner King. Survivors include two nieces, Lavenia Turner of Norfolk and Keena Morris of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two great-nieces, Galindo Norman of Norfolk and Mary Huntly of Roosevelt, Long Island, N.Y. Also, Mrs. Eaton leaves a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Bank Street Memorial Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. C. Kirkland Harris. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. The remains will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m. the day of the service. The family will receive friends in the residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
