She was born on September 24, 1936, in Norfolk, Virginia to Vincent and Mary Picone. She graduated from Norfolk Catholic High School in 1954. Marguerite devoted her life to her family, raising her three children with love and patience, and helping others. While living in Centreville, Virginia for over 50 years, she was a devout and active member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, praying the rosary, and volunteering at ManorCare Nursing Home, Fort Myer Thrift Shop, and other various community organizations. Marguerite enjoyed traveling, particularly to Alaska, Italy, and the Holy Land. She also loved visiting New York City to sightsee and attend plays. A dedicated and hard worker, she held positions at many places including Colonial Chevrolet, Chantilly High School, and Shoppers Food Warehouse. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Billy Eck, and two of her siblings: Joseph and Paul Picone.
