Virginian-Pilot  October 18, 1925
George Eddy, aged 52, died suddenly yesterday morning at his residence, 109 West 
Freemason Street.  He was a native of Ireland, but had been a resident of Norfolk 
for 25 years.  Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. J. J. Coleman and Mrs. 
Theresa Harrell, and two sons, John S. and J. F. Eddy.  The body will be taken 
from H. D. Oliver's funeral apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, to the 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services Monday morning at 10 o'clock.  
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
