Francis Joseph Eddy, 57, husband of Mrs. Dorothy Barnes Eddy and son of the late 
George and Mrs. Mary D. Eddy, a native of Chicago and a resident of Norfolk for 50 
years, died at the residence, 855 West 38th Street, yesterday at 7:45 p.m.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. J. Coleman and Mrs. Otho 
Frazier, all of Norfolk, and several nieces and nephews.

The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church, of which Mr. Eddy was a member, for funeral services 
Monday at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Rosary services will be 
conducted at the funeral apartments tomorrow at 6:30 p.m.
